U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame Inductions

The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame inducts 8 new members as the class of 2025. The class includes top athletes as well as individuals who have helped shape and advance Snow Sports.

Eight outstanding individuals will be inducted to the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame this weekend at Snowbird, Utah. This year’s inductees, the class of 2025, are all honored for being pioneers in snow sports.

Chris Cushing.

Ever wonder who plans and designs ski resorts? Chris is a go-to guy in the industry. A principal at SE Group, he develops mountain plans, works with uncharted terrain and even oversees projects project through construction. He has left his mark on resorts across North and South America, China, Europe, Iceland, Japan, South Korea, Turkey and Australasia.

Raelene Davis

A true marketing maven, Raelene has led the Marketing of Ski Utah for 40 years and currently serves as their VP of Marketing & Operations. She is one of the driving forces that created the national Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month program.

Nancy Gustafson

Nancy is a highly decorated racer. She was on a training run at the NCAA championships in 1985 when an accident left her arm and hand partially paralyzed. She returned to competition for an incredible career including 7 gold and 3 silver Paralympic medals. She claimed 9 World Titles and over 2 dozen national titles.  

Hugh Harley

Past Chairman of the Snow Sports Industries of America, Hugh left his mark on both ski equipment and ski racing.  He spent 36 years leading and growing Rossignol & Nordica to take a 30% share of the American market. He has long been a strong supporter of athletes on the U.S. Ski Team.

Doug Pringle

Doug has played a pivotal role in adaptive skiing. In 1969, he and 13 other amputee skiers organized and raced in a summit that would lay the foundation for what is now Move United. He helped establish dozens of programs for adaptive skiing across America, wrote curriculum for adaptive instruction and has been credited with bringing focus and equality to the United States Paralympic Team.

Kikkan Randall

Cross-country skier Kikkan’s impressive career resume includes 29 world cup podiums, 17 national titles and an Olympic Gold team medal.

Todd Richards

Many know Todd for his Winter Olympic commentary. A former Olympian himself, his snowboarding career took off just at the time halfpipes competition was new. Todd took the gold medal in the first X-Games halfpipe event and went on to win numerous X-Games and U.S. Open Halfpipe medals and world slopestyle medals.

Lindsey Van

That’s Van with an A, Lindsey won women’s ski jumping’s first world championships in 2009. She helped bring the sport to the Olympics in 2014. She holds 16 U.S. titles and has stood on the international podium at least 40 times.

About the Hall of Fame Awards

The first Hall of Fame Awards were given out at Sugarbush, Vermont in 1993.

The Hall of Fame is located in Ishpeming, Michigan.
